November Meeting

Silly judging and the November meeting is upon us!

Bring your Experimental Beer (TEN, 12 oz. bottles) if you will be at the meeting by 2:00. We will be sending the beers home with El Presidente (to keep safe) who can only attend the meeting for a short time on Saturday. Print out your description that is the same as your original that was turned in last month. We will distribute them the following weekend, location TBD. This is being done so those who can not make it to the meeting can drop off their beer anytime between now and next Thursday (11/13) to El Presidente’s house. The address will be provided if you need it.

Great news! Winter Beer Camp will have the 9 tap system set up and flowing. Bring ICE to keep the chiller plates cold! Bring commercial kegs! Bring homebrew kegs! The 9 tap will be set up for both types of kegs.

No RSVP and no additional Camping or Parking Fees are required!

NO DOGS! It was just made aware that our host has requested that no dogs shall be included in the festivities.

Bring FOOD to cook and share! NO FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE CLUB. A BBQ and a full kitchen is available for use. GO BIG!

Don’t forget your camping gear, a chair, and your glassware!!

The address is 5566 Paradise Rd. (near Summer Beer Camp). Our host has requested we begin arriving no earlier than 12:00 noon on Saturday.

90 degree high/ 43 low is forecasted for Santa Ynez.

A home brew DEMO is scheduled. Come ready to help out!

“Crawl out of your ditch,
Climb onto your bike,
Gonna find out who’s drinkin’ tonight,

“You didn’t pay dues,
You didn’t bring food,
Don’t you worry,
You ain’t gettin’ none Dude!
Twelve Beers drinkin’ party’s in town!”

(chorus)
“He sees you when you’re sober,
He sees you when you’re spiffed,
He’s looking in the present bag,

So…

“You better watch out

Gotta save room
For some beers of Delight!

At Fig Mtn in Funk Zone Thursday, April 17th

I wanted to let you know about a special event we have on Thursday, April 17th in Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co’s Santa Barbara Taproom starting at 6pm. Ignacio “Nacho” Cervantes, Head Brewer of Pizza Port’s Ocean Beach brewery, will be brewing a collaboration beer with our Brewmaster, AJ, this week and on Thursday evening he’ll be pouring samples from Pizza Port. This Q&A with Nacho will be a fun event for local home brewers. I’m hoping you can spread the word with your club members or let me know how I can promote this event to them.

Our Santa Barbara Taproom is located at 137 Anacapa St, Suite F in the Funk Zone.

Cheers!
